What Happens When You Join

With an invite

Someone from your community sends you a link or a code. Open it, confirm your phone number, and you're in.

Without an invite

Search for your community. If it's there, ask to join. An admin approves or declines your request, and if they approve, you get the invite link.

If your community is verified, you're checked against the organization's member list, and people on the list get in without waiting.

What you'll find

Rooms for the groups you belong to, like your grade or your team. Announcements from the admins. Asks from other members, which stay up until someone answers.

If your community has Hive Assistant, you can ask it questions. It answers from what the community already posted and shows you where the answer came from.

What others see about you

Only what you choose to share. You can change that, or leave the community, at any time. How privacy works →
