Bring Your Community to OurHive

Your PTA, swim team, or street already has people who want to help each other. Bringing it to OurHive takes a few minutes, and it's free.

1. See if it's already here

Search for your school, sports club, or neighborhood. If someone has already brought it to OurHive, join that one instead of starting a second. What happens when you join →

2. Bring it to OurHive

If it isn't there, choose "Bring your community to OurHive" and give it a name. The name is filled in from your search. Add something like "PTA" or "U12 Blue" if more than one group shares the same place.

You become the community's first member and its first admin. Your community gets rooms, a directory, messaging, and asks. All of that is free, and members never pay.

3. Invite the people you already know

You get an invite link and a code. Share them wherever your people already talk, like the group chat or the class email list. Anyone with the link or code joins right away.

People who find your community without an invite can ask to join. You approve or decline each request, and approving sends them the invite link.

Later: verification and Hive Assistant

The organization behind it, like a school or club, can verify the community later by uploading its member list. Separately, any admin can add Hive Assistant, which answers questions from what the community already posted and runs signups and reminders. Neither one means starting over. See pricing →
