The Launch Kit

Telling people a community exists is the part that usually stalls. The launch kit does that part for you.

What's in it

Six pieces, each written for your community and each with a scannable QR code:

• An email
• A newsletter blurb
• A group chat message
• A social media post
• A printable flyer
• A yard sign, for where people are already waiting with a phone in hand

If your community is verified, the materials also carry the organization's logo.

Which link it uses

By default, every piece uses your request-to-join link. People who open it ask to join, and an admin approves or declines. Because it only collects requests, it's safe to post anywhere: a website, a public flyer, a sign.

Want people to join without asking? An admin can swap in the invite link instead. Keep that version to private channels, since anyone who has it joins right away. A verified community can also send every person on its list a personal invitation. Verify your community →
