Verify Your Community in Two Steps
September 22, 2026 · Krishna Kamath
Verification is for the organization itself, like a school or club. It confirms that everyone in the community belongs. It costs $400 a year.
1. Upload your member list
Upload the email addresses of the people who belong. That is all we need. Members add anything else themselves.
Everyone already in the community is checked against the list. Anyone who isn't on it comes to you to keep or remove. From then on, people on the list are matched automatically, with no approval step.
2. Tell people it exists
Each person on the list gets their own invitation. Mention it in your newsletter or at your next meeting too. The launch kit has text ready for both. The launch kit →
A roster is not a community
The list tells you who belongs. People start opening the room once they find something useful in it. In the first few weeks, have your admins post announcements there first, and ask one or two real questions so the people who arrive early see answers coming in.
Who runs it
Your staff can make other people admins, usually from the PTA or the board. Uploading the list and sending invitations stay with your staff. They run it day to day and handle reports. Reports go to them privately, never back into the room.
Only your staff see the member list, including who on it has joined. Admins never see it. The organization also chooses how much of the conversation it sees. The default is nothing.
Your list is used only to invite and verify members. We never sell it or share it. How privacy works →
